You are greeted at Bengaluru Airport by our guest relations executive, holding a placard with your name. They will assist you to your car and arrange a smooth transfer to your pre-booked hotel.
In the afternoon, set out on a city tour of Bangalore, beginning with Vidhan Soudha, an impressive granite structure that serves as the legislative assembly of Karnataka. This architectural marvel reflects the grandeur of neo-Dravidian design. Next, visit the Lalbagh Botanical Garden, home to over 1,000 species of unique flora and the renowned Glass House, inspired by London’s Crystal Palace. Continue to the Nandi (Big Bull) Temple, known for its massive granite bull statue carved from a single rock. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this 16th-century temple holds deep historical and spiritual significance. Conclude the tour at Bangalore Palace, a stunning example of regal architecture and heritage.

The “Pride of Karnataka” journey begins in Bengaluru, the vibrant capital of Karnataka. As India’s third-largest city, it is known for its energetic atmosphere, stunning Victorian-era architecture, and pleasant weather throughout the year.
Guests arrive at Yeshvantpur Railway Station at approximately 08:15 hrs.
Registration and check-in at Yeshvantpur Railway Station begins from 08:30 hrs onwards.
The Golden Chariot – The Pride of Karnataka departs from Yeshvantpur Railway Station in the morning at 09:45 hrs.
Enjoy lunch onboard as the train arrives at Nanjangud at 13:30 hrs.
At 14:45 hrs, depart for Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary, a scenic 1 hour 30-minute drive from Nanjangud.
Evening Safari (16:30 hrs to 18:30 hrs)
Return to the train by 20:15 hrs, followed by dinner onboard as the train departs for Mysore.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast onboard, followed by an excursion to Halebidu, home to stunning Hoysala-era temple architecture.

After breakfast, head out to explore the churches of North Goa. Depart at 9:00 AM and return by 12:00 PM.

Visit Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, and Humayun’s Tomb, a landmark of Mughal architecture and the first garden-tomb in India. Stop at India Gate, a war memorial honoring Indian soldiers of World War I, followed by a drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan (the President’s House) and Parliament Street, home to various government buildings.
Pay your respects at Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, and admire the grandeur of the Red Fort (outside visit), built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Explore Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, constructed by Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656.

Upon arriving in the ‘City of Mughal Splendour,’ visit the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen, Mumtaz Mahal, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is an architectural masterpiece. Made entirely of white marble, it features intricate inlay work and exquisite marble screens.

Early this morning, disembark for a visit to the magnificent Agra Fort. Later, return to the train and enjoy a relaxed breakfast as you travel to your next destination, Ranthambore. Lunch will be served on board.
Arrive in Ranthambore and set out on a game drive in Ranthambore National Park. Once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, it was declared a national park in 1973. Known for its diverse wildlife, the park offers chances to spot tigers, sambar deer, chital, nilgai, chinkara, wild boars, sloth bears, hyenas, jackals, and leopards. While the safari experience differs from Africa, spotting a tiger or a leopard here is a rare and special moment.
Return to the Maharajas’ Express and enjoy dinner on board as the train continues its journey to Jaipur.

After disembarking, receive a grand traditional welcome before setting off to explore Jaipur, the Pink City. Your tour begins with a visit to Amber Fort, a stunning blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture set against picturesque, rugged hills. Built by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 and later completed by Mirza Raja Jai Singh, the fort is constructed from red sandstone and white marble. While its imposing exterior appears formidable, the interior reveals a breathtaking fusion of artistic and architectural brilliance. Amber Fort stands as a classic and romantic fort-palace, exuding a majestic charm.
Take a short jeep ride up to Amber Fort, where you will explore the royal apartments while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding gorge. Step back into the Mughal era as you enter the breathtaking Sheesh Mahal (Chamber of Mirrors) and the Hall of Victory, both showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. Built in 1835, Rambagh Palace served as the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur from 1925 to 1957 before being transformed into a luxury hotel. After dinner, return to the station by 9:00 PM. The Maharajas’ Express then continues its journey to Bikaner.

Wake up to the breathtaking landscapes of Mewar, one of the most regal regions of Rajputana. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board while admiring the scenic Aravalli Hills as the train arrives in Udaipur, famously known as the City of Lakes.
Disembark from the train and start your exploration of Udaipur with a serene boat ride on Lake Pichola. Glide across the tranquil waters, taking in the stunning views of palaces and historic structures lining the lake.
After the boat ride, visit the grand City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Admire its scalloped arches, intricately carved balconies, and majestic cupolas.
