Arrive in Ranthambore and set out on a game drive in Ranthambore National Park. Once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, it was declared a national park in 1973. Known for its diverse wildlife, the park offers chances to spot tigers, sambar deer, chital, nilgai, chinkara, wild boars, sloth bears, hyenas, jackals, and leopards. While the safari experience differs from Africa, spotting a tiger or a leopard here is a rare and special moment.
The safari takes place in open vehicles, and the ride can be bumpy and dusty. If traveling during the winter months, be sure to carry warm clothing.
